The GIT at work

There’s nothing worse than a non-techy boss asking to see results for incomplete projects.

What do they want to see? Hundreds of lines of code that is going to mean nothing to them? Open your brain and show them the problem solving effort part? Dazzle them with your creative genius that happens with literally every single crazy feature they want to happen?

No.

A better idea might be to use Zapier to send an alert to a Slack / Trello location, but doubtful a non-tech would even engage. Save time, and just print out all of your node.js server source and plop it on their desk, and firmly ask for a report/red pen on anything that stands out as an error.

They’ll never ask again. (And there won’t be many trees left after either)
